hi plant people! I got this gollum jade plant (at least I think that’s what it is) a couple months ago and it’s not looking so good anymore:( any tips to fix it or reasons why it’s turning brown??

How often have you been watering it, and does the pot have drainage?
0 J'aimeI water it like every 2 weeks and it has drainage
0 J'aimeWell, that takes away the risk of root rot. How often do you fertilize?
0 J'aimeIf it's anything less than a month, my verdict is just hold back a little. Anything more, and I'd consult the pests/sickness group available :)
2 J'aimeI only fertilized it once a few weeks ago (some kind of liquid succulent fertilizer)
0 J'aimeOh. I don't know what else to say, sry, good luck tho!
1 j'aimeYou are overwatering. Soil looks too peat heavy. You need a good quality succulent/cactus soil. Should be very gritty with gravel, orchid bark, perlite, pumice, etc. Soil should be totally dry between waterings. And then drench it, making sure all the soil gets wet. And needs lots of bright light. Morning sun would be great, but not harsh afternoon sun. And yes your plant is a crassula Gollum Jade.
3 J'aimeWow! Beautiful! I hope mine gets that big!
1 j'aimeChange soil and less watering. I left mine on the porch this summer and it has improved so much.
