pileas are so easy to read with the way their leaves fold! inward is a stress response to something, probably underwatering. They curl in to preserve what they have. Mayyyybbbeeee it’s too much light, but hard to say for sure. Can you help us rule out underwatering by giving us your routine?

so i currently just water based on this apps schedule & bottom water when i do! i thought that when underwatered, the leaves start to droop, which is why i thought this may be too much light? this is my first pilea, so not much experience

they’ll droop down like any other leafy plant when it’s overwatering! pileas and calatheas both curl inward for underwatering. watering about every 2 weeks seems pretty normal to me. try moving it slightly from the grow light.. i know that might be tricky though. also the fact that the leaves further away are normal makes me feel like it’s a light issue.
