I never seen any posts about Iresine AKA bloodleaf!!! Do u guys have any other goth/girly plant recommendations? There’s a few obvious i want (chinese evergreen, pink princess philodendron, so on) i have a pink nerve plant . what’s some less obvious cool ones like my girl here :pp??

i saw a really dark purple alocasia today! not sure of the species but it was giving major goth vibes! my mum loves dark plants and she has always adored burgundy rubber trees

0개 좋아요For black flowers, catasetum orchids and black batflower (be aware, lots of plant scams on that one). Brain cactus with a skull planter. If you like thorns, crown of thorns (or a honey locust bonsai could be really cool.) Pilea dark mystery and red begonias (leaves are glittery if they're extra healthy). If you find plants that smell like corpses interesting, bulbophyllum orchids (there are also scentless ones. They're easy to grow) and stapelia cacti are cool. If you like doves, try the white egret orchid (also common for plant scammers. Buy it from an orchid nursery if you choose it.) If you want a victorian era goth look, ferns and wardian cases. Have fun!

This is the goth girl of my collection, purple passion. If you’re not dissuaded by the bat wing shaped leaves and the purple hair, the bright orange flowers that reek of moldy socks will keep you away. This is just angle and lighting I didn’t edit the picture. Besides this one, I’d recommend any carnivorous plants as well as begonias.
