How can I get it to be a darker green?

Probably less light. Chlorophyll typically breaks down when exposed to more light, hence the lighter leaves. It’s the same thing for variegated plants, the more light they receive, the more white/light coloring they have.

That is so cool mine used to be really cool and then it started to fail. There were lots of shoots so I broke them off and gave them to family members and put the last two in my first one. I will try putting it in less sun thank you

I have had mine for about six years. And I started mine off in water. But when it got a lot of water roots, I put it into pearlite to give it some stronger roots. And then I put it into dirt and it’s just fine. And you have to be careful with some dirts, because it does have something in it whether good or bad I don’t know, but it turns the tips of my leaves a little bit brown. But it’s doing great and it’s constantly growing. I’ve had a propagated at least three times.
