Very much, yes. In the wild they’re watered by the rain, so it’s certainly ideal to match their natural conditions.
4 likesIm in Washington also and I use rain water all the time. My plants do a lot better then when I have to use tap water.

1 likeRainwater is a huge YES…my plants love it. I try to sit them outside when it rains so they can soak it up.
3 likesRain water /can/ be helpful, but keep an eye on any potential pollutants in the area. During times of the year where California & Canada have intense wild fires, the rain can pick up toxic particles. Generally, rain can be very beneficial for the plants, but as the climate continues to shift, id recommend at least checking the air quality when it’s raining before giving it to your indoor plants
2 likesRainwater is great. I don’t do that though so for most, I’m using filtered water and for some, even using distilled water.
