Hello everyone, First time user here 👋 I’ve heard a lot about using crushed egg shells to help indoor plants, but I’m unsure as to which plants would benefit from it. Currently I’ve got the following plants: - Purple waffle - Spider plant - Silver inch plant - Zebra plant (big band) - Silver inch plan (pink paradise) Any help would be appreciated. Thanks a lot!!
I would just buy a fertilizer that you can use for the majority of your plants. The problem with using things like eggshells or banana water is that you don’t know how much of the nutrients are actually getting to your plants. It’s probably negligible

Using egg shells etc can sometimes cause mould as well. I use houseplant food for most of my plants - just be aware that some plants like it more diluted than others! (Eg succulents) Good luck with your plant endeavours! :D

Eggshell tea for calcium craving plants like peppers and tomatoes but not really appropriate for most decorative house plants.

I only use it on my Tomatoes and peppers outside because of the slugs

Just don't. Eggshells are not a source for calcium. Even in compost eggshells take forever to break down. Just use a balanced (10 10 10) fertilizer and follow the instructions on the bottle.
