I found this extremely dilapidated peace lily next to the dumpster outside my apartment building and thought I would try to work some magic. Since it was free I thought there would be no harm in trying something extreme. First pic was exactly how I found it, second pic was after letting it soak up some water and getting what looked like all the dead stuff out, third pic was when I said “these leaves have no hope” and final pic is today! I found it on August 2nd so in 18 days she’s been doing really good! I know that it will probably need to be repotted soon but I want to let it get some new growth before traumatizing it further.
