Grow light recs? I recently brought in two plants from home (1 pothos, 1 succulent) to my office which gets zero natural light, so I know it's time to invest in a grow light. I am only in the office 3 days per week, so ideally the light would have a built-in timer, but I guess I could get a separate timer plug if needed. Bonus points if it's a brand I can find off Amazon!

I have an LBW light from Amazon that seems really good. It’s pretty new, so I’m not sure about long term. I also have Barrina bar lights that I like. They don’t have a built in timer, but I think I prefer using a dial type timer that I plug them in to anyway. I can control the time a little better that way.

I use Philips hue smart plugs, you can set up a scedule on your phone, I use apple home to do this, then I can change or turn on and off with app or voice, there are plenty of other smart plugs out there, prefer this than timer plugs that you may need to access. As for grow lights I only use ( pianta full spectrum grow lights) I find my plants grow towards them, there are a few main branded versions, just look for full spectrum when choosing, I tried sansi but do not recommend these my self, others do, I find they get way to hot and the end lense is held on with a few small plastic tabs that over time will go brittle and hot lense led could fall and start a fire, as mentioned above barrina are supposed to be okay, just read reviews of them on what ever site you choose, I also recommend that you get lights that hang above your plants rather than the tall long ones that way your plants will grow up, just remember if putting in a tall floor lamp that it’s not in a sealed shade or that it has ventilation holes in it to prolong the life of the light and prevent it from over heating

Sounds like the easiest light would be a pot clip on. Depending on your succulent, it still may not be enough. My favorite is Sansi pot clip ons. I would suggest the 10 watt, not the 5. They are available with timer and intensity. Use the full 12 hours and probably brightest setting, especially for the succulent.
