Hi Calthea friends - just wondering if anybody has general advice for me on growing Caltheas! The photo on the left is about 3 weeks ago following a repot, and the photo on the right is today. As you can see there is some slight browning around the edges of leaves, and a couple brown puckers. I’m wanting to mitigate this as best as possible. Any advice? My plant sits inside a couple metres away from a South facing window, in a chunky well draining orchard-bark, horticulture charcoal and perlite mix and I water her once the first couple inches of her soil feel dry. She seems mostly content aside from the browning. Is this position potentially too dark?

Yes, a position "a couple metres away" from a south-facing window could be too dark, and the browning on your plant's leaves could be a symptom of insufficient light, though other factors like inconsistent watering, a too-chunky soil mix, root issues, or humidity could also be the cause. To determine the exact problem, you'll need to identify the type of plant you have and then consider its specific light, water, and soil needs.
