My monsteras generally look healthy. They regularly put out new growth. However just the tips of the leaves turn brown. Is suspect this is under-watering or not enough humidity (I live in Utah). Any thoughts?

Probably humidity. I live in Florida near the coast so we have high humidity here but if my monstera is put directly under the air vent, it gets those same looking tips to its leaves (just not as severe) because the air vent dries out the air more. Ive got 78% humidity at the moment while according to google, Utah averages 20%. You can try to increase the humidity by having a pebble-water tray, adding a humidifier, or misting around the room often while keeping the plant away from air vents. Keeping a pebble tray near the window while the plant is also nearby can also help as the window causes more evaporation and thus humidity (you might need to test it though since Utah might be different). I hope this helps.

in my experience brown tips mean not enough humidity or inconsistent watering. i’ve only ever gotten them on my Lucky Bamboo and my Corn Plant, and it doesn’t seem to have effected the growth at all 🤷‍♀️

I think this has more to do with inconsistent watering. You can tell because there is a ring of yellow before the leaf turns brown. Typically low humidity just causes brown crispy tips. Does that pot have drainage holes? How often is it watered?

Once a week in the summer and once every ten days in the winter. You think that is sufficient? It does have drainage but I’m thinking of maybe repotting in something with better drainage

Water when the soil is dry and not on a schedule, repotting would be a good idea. I put mine in a mix that has perlite, coco chips, charcoal, fox farms soil and orchid bark
