I need some suggestions. I have been nursing this zebra plant back to help. I had some root rot issues, I have trimmed the plant, cleaned up the roots, fresh potting soil. I finally have a little new growth but still have one leaf that is old and dying off. My question is: is the pot to big? Should I cut the stem and propagate? Trim the leaf?Or leave it for longer now that’s it seems to be doing better.

As long as the root ball is an inch or 2 smaller than the pot its good. This happened to me with a zebra. The bottom leaves always fall off so i can't help you with that part.. i have no clue why... 🙈🙈🙈

I’ve cut my zebra down because it started loosing the leaves and it grew again better . In my experience they like being moist but in a semi chunky soil mix . But they can be finicky and kinda dramatic and droopy when they are thirsty
