I have a spider plant problem that may need an intervention. 😆

What problem? I don’t see anything wrong with this picture, hehehe

I gifted a few to family and in-laws and they love it
1 mi piacePeople avoid me when I talk about my propagations or extra plants. I have left them in the central area at my last job with instructions! I was getting major backyard renovations (pool) and had to quickly get rid of some expensive bulbs before Etsy was invented. I have even mailed them to siblings! 🤣

Wow how cool, I would have loved some hehehe, lucky people
0 Mi piaceMe either. It looks pretty healthy.?
1 mi piaceThey sit outside in 4 hours of morning sunlight and afternoon bright shade in Texas heat. I have to water every other day in summer. Miracle Gro blue fertilizer applied once a month with SuperThrive plant vitamins. I only take them inside if temps drop to freezing levels. I just bundle them in trash bags for about a week or two until the weather warms up. I have no shelf place for them inside.

lol, me too. they have been slowly overtaking my home for about 10 years now. still one of my favorite plants. i started with the classic green chlorophytum comosum and recently started acquiring more varieties, like the curly ‘bonnie’ spider plant

it’s so lush! their resilience is exactly why spiders are some of my favorites. i’ve put mine through so much improper care, both accidentally as a young teen, and on purpose lately experimenting in my twenties, but they’ve almost all made it through unscathed. the only spider plant i ever killed was a pup that stayed too moist in too large a pot in a bathroom corner, too far from the window.
0 Mi piaceLol this is so true with just about anyone 🤣
1 mi piaceThere’s worse “problems” to have and then I fail to see the issue.
