Hi everyone! I have this plant that is relatively happy but it’s only going straight up and its getting harder to maintain. Is this generally what is to be expected or is there something I could change to help it be fuller rather than just tall.

That plant needs support. I suggest a moss pole or something vertical for the plant to root onto

If you want it fuller then chop the end off, root it in water and plant it back in the pot. These don’t tend to grow offshoots

I’d cut 2 or 3 cuttings if possible and root them and plant them back in.

What I would do is cut the stem under a node (a bump coming out the stem) until the plant is as short as you want it to be. then you place your few cuttings into either water or leca or right into the soil with rooting powder on the raw stem opening if you want. make sure that the node is buried in the water ect and the leaves are not to prevent rot. once you see a proper root system growing you can plant them back into the bottom of the pot and it will look busier, keep doing this until your happy! Also if you are propergating with water then make sure you change your water frequently

hope this helps, I've only done it a few times so there may be a few things wrong with my explanation but it seems to work for me!
