How do you guys know when your plants have pests? What do you use to prevent them and what do I do if there any? I feel like I would know if they were infested, I just brought this new one home Sunday and she was on clearance with some brown spots so I want to make sure she’s good!

She’s stunning!😍 I would have brought her home too. With pests, there are typically visible signs; it is fungus or disease that’s harder to pinpoint. Mostly, just be careful with watering. I noticed that you have missing information in this plant’s settings. Be sure to complete all info so that Planta will set a more accurate schedule. Then you can follow that as a guide. Always check the soil before watering. If it is still moist, you can snooze or skip that action.

Okay thanks! When I get her out of this nursery pot I will definitely fill out all the info. Not sure.. do they like to be root bound and in tight quarters?

When i get new plants I check them over, spray them down with a shower, then spray them down with a mix of 2c DI water, 2 tbl neem, 1 til Peppermint castille soap, 1 tsp 70% alcohol.. then I top off the 32 oz sprayer with more DI till it's full. I let that sit for 30-60 mins. SShower off again. Add systemic to the soil and leave them in the sink overnight. Check them in the morning, and put into QT for 3 weeks. Where i check them regularly for any pests or problems
