Hello! I have a four year old peach tree that just got hit hard by what looks like squirrels? Any advice would be appreciated.

Wow! I do not envy that squirrel's intestines. 🤢 They must be some delicious peaches!
1 likeI feed the squirrels alot of raw nuts everyday so this year i can't put any of my plants on the patio bcz they knock them down or chew on them so this year its the squirrels turn to be on the patio. They are so cute but they definitely raise havoc lol
0 likesfruit will continue to ripen after picking. pick the peaches as soon as they begin to "blush" or change colors, they will be ready to eat in a few days. this is the only thing i've seen actually work, with smells (peppermint, lemon, etc) the squirrels quickly learn not to care, and they will sometimes chew through netting or bags placed around the fruit. you have to beat them to it LOL

When you find out what to do please share! My dog helps but the barking is annoying and he can’t be there 24/7. My squirrels take a bite or two from the fruit then throw it to the ground and go after another!
