Hi! This is my new girl I got today. It’s a Peperomia. Can anyone give me some pointers of how to care for her. Thanks! I just think she is so pretty!😍

Ooh how pretty! We love peperomias (a few of ours here!) they are very susceptible to root rot because they have very fine/super thin roots, so be careful not to water it too frequently and make sure it’s in a pretty tight pot size for its roots. Otherwise ours do very well with bright indirect light! They can get pretty big (see our watermelon peperomia!) but it takes time, they are medium to slowish growers in my opinion!

Your Peperomia’s are stunning. Your care suggestions make me a little nervous about the fine/thin roots. I will do my best to care for my Peperomia.

We follow the watering schedule in planta here honestly! Just make sure it has good drainage and you should be fine :)

I just got a peperomia Rossi! Looks pretty similar! Are the undersides reddish? I haven’t had mine long so I don’t know if I have any tips yet. Mine sits in a basement egress window. So it’s getting some light but not too much. I’ll hope it does well. I have it in a pot with drainage. Been watering according to planta.

I have a small Banda along with several other peps. The Banda seems the most sensitive to light. My others get very bright light and one gets morning sun. Expected the same from this one but had to back off and settle for a lower light area. The Banda leaves with fade in excess light. Then you need to back off. And the “flowers” are kinda weird. They send out small leaves on the “flowers” stalk. But my fav is my Peperomia Hope. Like I said Banda seems different but all my others are in succulent soil, shallow pots, and in very bright light locations. They are considered to be semi succulent so they need to dry out between waterings. And shallow pots cause they usually have shallow root system. That’s why so many people have root rot problems with them, their pot is too deep and they don’t let them dry out.
