Hi guys! I need some names for my new babies! I really like relating my plants name to the actual plant. For example, my “elephant ear” alocasia is named Dumbo and my money tree is name Penny. But for these two I can’t think of anything & I need help!!
Wish I could think of cool names like you did with Dumbo/Penny. All mine are boy names 😂
2 Likes Thanks! Since she’s a Chinese money plant I wanted to relate her name to my money tree but the only thing I can think of is “coin” and I don’t like that

How about Yen? Isn’t that the name of Chinese money? Just an idea.
1 Like That’s such a good idea but according to google “yen” is the name for Japanese currency. Thank you for the comment though!!
1 Like“Yuan” is the Chinese equivalent of Yen. The first currency dated in China was during the Shang Dynasty-so maybe “Shang”?
