Tips of my baby spider plant are turning brown. It is grown in water which is cleaned almost every two weeks. Never fertilized and by a grow light. Any help???

Not sure if it’s just me, but I’ve found that mine do better if left in the same water for longer. For a while I changed it frequently, but once I left them alone they stopped forming those brown tips.

I water it with filtered water, I’ll try leaving it in the water until it absolutely needs to be changed and see how that affects it. It has been putting out new leaves so it seems to be mostly happy. Thank you for the advice!! :)

It’s standard spider plant-ness due to its sensitivity with water chemicals. I refuse to buy special water for any of my plants, haha. But if you leave tap water out overnight, the chemicals in the water will evaporate. I water mine with day old water and it’s doing MUCH better (almost no brown tips). Or you can use a filtered water too, if you have it.
