Hello, my spider plant died. My son and I forgot about it when winter hit. But this ended up growing after. Is this just weeds? Thank you in advance

What did it look like before?
0 J'aimeThose are definitely weeds and a tree growing out of it.
0 J'aimeSo should we keep it? We dont know how to garden
0 J'aimeKeep it. And buy another spider 🕷️ plant …
0 J'aimeYou can just pull em out and try to start new. Looks like that spider might not be coming back though.
0 J'aimeMost of those volunteers are dandelions. The taller one is a tree, and looks like possibly an elm. If you get pictures of the bark, a leaf, and the branching arrangement (i'm not sure if it's doing spiraling alternate or opposite) then i can help you ID it further
0 J'aimeI will take a closer picture today. It looked like the stem was red is that a thing?
1 j'aimeWith a red stem, it's probably a plum or cottonwood species
0 J'aimeI’d say they are weeds!
0 J'aimeDefinitely got taken back over by nature, but could be cool to see what sprouts. Like some others said looks like some dandelion (useful for a number of things if youre interested in that) and maybe an elm starting up (obviously a much longer term, slow grower)
1 j'aimeNo idea. I do not have a green thumb that I know of. We did pretty well over the summer but with my work schedule I forgot all about it when winter came
1 j'aimeThe whole plant is missing 😩
0 J'aimeI do not have a green thumb. I work a lot and when winter hit and the snow came my son and I forgot all about the plant 🤦♀️
1 j'aimeI understand, try a Jade plant or some succulent plants 🥰
