I accidentally snapped the top of my polka dotted begonia when repotting, I watered it the morning after when I realized the leaves turned upside down.. is it still alive? Will it still grow from this spot?😭

It might need actual light from the sun
0 Mi piaceIt was night when I took these pictures, it gets plenty of sun during the day time!

0 Mi piaceYes it should be ok and it will continue to grow. I cut mine often and start new starts and new branches start from where I cut off the last piece. This was cut about 2 weeks ago and there is already 2 new leaves starting
0 Mi piaceBeautiful! Definitely helps :) I was nervous I killed it entirely lol. Since it broke off right at the node of the top leaf in the pic, should I take that leaf off or leave it? I threw the part that broke off into water to try and save it, hoping it starts to grow roots!
0 Mi piaceYou can keep the leaf if you want. It may fall off on its own but it looks good so it maybe fine. As long as there is a node in the water it will root for you. Make sure no leaves are in the water though or it will rot. I have lost all the leaves off some of my begonias and they have grown new ones as well. This one is just coming back.
