I’m looking at setting up a shelving unit with grow lights to create a fun area in my living room to grow plants. I’m after any advice on how to set this up and what I might need. I’m in the UK so if there are any companies that sell the whole package I’m happy to have a mooch ✌🏻

I don't know if you have this available in the UK. I got the knockoff but barrina has it as well. The green house cover is necessary as my house is terribly dry and my cat won't leave my plant alone but this is definitely my favourite. I can put my prettiest in there and it sits in my living room.

I think it would be better to purchase the shelving and grow lights separately. That way you can customize to your needs. I have efficient metal plant stands in my dining room, and more attractive bookshelves in my living room and a console in my family room. It’s easy to install the grow lights on the undersides of the shelves. With succulents I needed multiples of several lights on each shelf. Everything came from Amazon. The metal stands in the first two pics are plant stands from Xiofio. Third pic, the bookcase, is from Tribesigns. Those were both good quality. The console was lower quality from Giantex. Almost all the grow lights are Sansi or Barrina.
