In my experience, peperomias are pretty easy to grow. They can benefit from some misting a few times a week and some fertilizer every so often.

いいね 1件I second Phil’s tip here. They’re epiphytic plants, which means they need very well-draining soil in order to survive as a houseplant. I swear by Espoma’s Organic Cactus and Succulent mix for my peperomias, and the obtusifolia variety I have that looks like yours enjoys being treated like a draft-sensitive succulent. The curled leaves could be from humidity problems or changes in temperature (they do not enjoy the cold), but if you’re losing leaves, I would maybe check the roots or consider overwatering to be a possibility. Mine take around 11-14 days before they need watering during this season. You can stick a bamboo/barbecue skewer all the way into the bottom of the soil to test if the soil is dry enough to be watered. If the soil sticks to it, wait 2 days, then test again. If the skewer comes out clean, then it should be safe to water. Hope this helps.
