There has been new growth coming out of another stem of my calathea leopardina, which is causing the whole stem to tip over. What should I do? Also any tips on not making the tips dry out?

My guess is this plant does not get enough light and the humidity is lower than it needs. I’d aim for 45-50% minimum. Regarding the stem maybe try to add a support to the existing tipping stem or to the new one to direct it to right way. Similar to what used for orchids when they flower.
