My Amazonian elephant ear keeps losing leaves and is turning yellow. I was told that I’m overwatering but I stopped watering every day and it’s still turning colors. Thoughts?

The roots have probably rotted. Pull it out of the pot gently, check the roots, cut off all dead roots and soak the rest in hydrogen peroxide to kill the bacteria. Repot in new, airy soil and put it in a bright place without direct sunlight. Put a plastic bag over the pot to raise humidity when it’s recovering (air it out from time to time) and do not water the soil until it is almost dry.

If you were watering everyday you may not have much of a plant left 🥺 Rooting for you!!
