🌿🚨 HELP! I am soon relocating an entire JUNGLE! 😂🪴📦 Has anyone moved with OVER 100 PLANTS?! 😳 I started with around 300, sold off a bunch, and somehow I STILL have enough plants to qualify as my own botanical garden! 🌴🤣 Now comes the fun part… packing, moving, keeping everyone alive, AND updating my entire collection in the Planta app! 😩🌱 At this point, I think my plants need their own moving truck, a personal assistant, and possibly a therapist! 😂🚚 So, my fellow plant addicts… I NEED YOUR WISDOM! 🌿 How did you survive moving your jungle? Any packing hacks, moving tips, or shortcuts for updating your Planta collection without losing your sanity? 🌱 Send help, tips, coffee… or bubble wrap! 🤣☕ — 💚

I just moved last February and had the same concerns. Although I don’t have quite so many plants as you (yet), I had at that time about 70. I found a trusted friend to help transport them in boxes very carefully. It took two days until we were able to get them all but I never lost a single one. Hope you have success.

That is real trust, and what a tender task to carry out together as friends.

I moved from CA to TX in Feb with about 50 plants. I used milk crates for the smaller ones and blankets/pillows between the big ones. I laid down the back seats in my car and filled the space and the floors with plants. My husband’s car had all the luggage and the dog 😄

I moved within the same city. I had maybe 30 plants. I first moved all my stuff leaving the plants in place. Last, when all the furniture was installed in my new home, I brought the plants to their new location. So they only got one moving around. No plants died or got overly stressed.

I move plants between Michigan and Florida every year. I bubble wrap the pots, water before I go, and place them in totes without lids closely packed. I check them each stop. They tend to do well.

The ones I leave home with my husband fare worse. He has a black thumb

I moved with about 100. Probably wound up giving about half away if not more mostly of duplicates. Luckily my sister took some too cause that was hard. They didn’t have to go to far so they all made the move safely.
