I got a miniature rose plant gifted on valentines 💕 I know nothing about plant. How to keep it from not dying. Help! I’ve been watering it every 2 days. Do I need to move it to a bigger pot? Does it need plant food?

snazzy manI would water it less. I’ve never had a mini rose plant tbh Also does it have drainage holes??

There’s a plastic pot on the inside that has drainage holes. How often do you recommend I water it?

Hmm tbh I’m not so sure. I would do once a week just to be safe. The rose plant I have is an outdoor one and I never water it and it’s been doing great. Mine is also not a supper tiny one so I’m really not 100percent sure I’m sorry.

JayI would water it when the top 1-2” of the soil feels dry, i know they like to be moist but probably not soaked all the time, make sure to water deeply and saturate all the soil when you do

The app did recommend once a week but the blogs I read said keep the soil wet so I started watering it more often. I could make it make a week and try I guess

RoseRedI’ve already killed 2 mini rose bushes because I did not water them often enough, and they don’t tend to bounce back very well. But, I’m ready to try again. 😃 Good luck with yours!!! 🌹

This is my first ever plant. I’ve only had succulents before I’m scared I’ll kill them 😭

Yeah, I killed my first set of succulents too! 😂 I don’t have a very good spot in my house for them, and it’s too cold outside. I’m thinking I’ll try them in a terrarium next.
