Looking for plant recommendations! I'm in an apartment in zone 7a (Southern New Jersey). I can't plant things in the ground, so I want to have a cute little container garden this year. I love having plants on my porch but honestly I forget to water them and then I feel bad that they're not doing well. So! I need all your best recommendation for extremely drought tolerant plants for zone 7a that will do well in planters, especially if they are beginner friendly

    Hen's and chicks are cute! And they don't really need to be watered but if you do they will probably thrive

    Lavender is rewarding and extremely hardy! Look at images of the three different types (Spanish, English, & French) before buying. They're each a different aesthetic and you want to go with the one that matches you!
