Jot thinks green🍃

Had my 1st FLF 5 days ago and everybody said good luck keeping it alive and so I was scared and didn’t moved it from its place near the window a bit but my fear came true I guess bcoz today I found it shedding 2 of its leaves 😭😭 Please help me I don’t want it to die I really really like it Please help!!!!!

      I didn’t water it yet when I got it the soil was already wet but I washed the leaves and sprayed it with insecticide

      I agree then that it just needs to acclimate

    If you just got it 5 days ago, it's only getting acclimated to its environment. Leaf drop is common when transitioning.

    They can be dramatic, give him some more time to adjust. I've had my guy just a year or so now and he's grown about 2ft.

    I just got a fiddle leaf fig over a month ago and it shed a couple bottom leaves as well. I think it is normal while it is still transitioning. ;)

    My Fidel Leaf drops a lower leaf just before it grows a new leaf. The new leaf is usually much larger than the one that drops. Expect a new leaf soon

    People being negative about fiddles scared me off for a long time. Once I finally got one I was mad I listened because they weren’t bothersome at all. The more light the better, and water when the top couple inches are dry. Easy. You got this. 💕
