Hey plant community ! Just bought this gorgeous monstera but I want to repot her she has roots coming out of the bottom of the pot. My big question is if I should split her? Does it look like they put two in one pot ?

Amateur plant mamaIt does look like 2 plants. They love being very root bound. I would seperate sooner than later i left 3 together in a pot for over and year. Now only one is thriving and the other two and just surviving.

BuckolenaI don’t know anything about monstera plants but looking closely at the pictures you provided, I would strongly suspect there being 2 plants in there but it’s difficult to really say for sure without getting to actually examine the pot they’re in.

plantgeekdefinitely looks like two to me. i would separate and both go into smaller pots than this one. the root systems are smaller than expected when you have multiple because they're fighting each other
