Does anyone know if isopod frass (bug poop hehe) is beneficial in any way to amend with soil? I grow a lot of isopod colonies with my boyfriend, and when the time comes to change their soil I was hoping I could repurpose it for my plants? Their soil consists of peat, spaghnum, perlite, lecca, calcium, leaf litter and orchid bark.

Isopod frass is great for plants; like most poops, it works as a fertilizer. It's gentler than chemical fertilizers and apparently the chitin in it helps boost the plant's immune response
