What fertilizer is suitable for most plants and works well?
Instant plant food, maxsea, fox farms, super thrive. I do have specialized fertilizer for citrus, cacti/succs, but in a pinch and with dilution these work on everything. Start with 1/4 dilution.
0 Me gustaOhh and Carnivorous and orchids only get maxsea dilution

1 me gustaThe instant, maxsea, or super thrive. Honestly the Fox will too, but the one I primarily use is the bloom, so it's not a straight like 16-16-16 like maxsea is. The maxsea being gentle enough to go on Carni's usually makes it my go to for unknown plants. Unless my research really states they shouldn't have a straight balance.
2 Me gustaI have used standard Miracle-Gro blue crystals for many years. Works for me since I have many varieties of tropical plants with very little succulents and cacti. I don’t want to buy specialty fertilizer. I dilute it 50% and apply twice as often during the growing season. I started adding SuperThrive plant vitamins about 2 years ago with great results. I use Osmocote timed release fertilizer on some plants at the start of spring. It can last up to 9 months. I was told by a nursery owner on Etsy that spray on orchid fertilizer is great for helping hoyas bloom. I used up 3 bottles and none of my hoyas bloomed. They bloomed the following year after going back to miracle gro and putting them outside to get full morning sun. 🍀🪴🌺
