I’m getting ready to go on vacation for a week and am wondering how I can best handle watering while I’m out of town. Should I just give everyone a drink before I go regardless of their schedule or just water everyone when I get back?

    that’s usually what i do — except for succulents and anything that is already wet

    I would suggest you water the ones that you know will act out if not watered but leave those that are more drought tolerant for when you return. I pre-watered ahead of schedule recently and I am still recovering from that. I won’t do that again!
