I’ve been loving the progress on my dieffenbachia top cutting that I propagated, but how do I make sure it continues to grow without becoming leggy, or so it can grow fuller? Also should I cut off most of the bottom leaves?

The best way to prevent leggy growth is to ensure adequate lighting so that the plant isn’t reaching to find light, and this will also ensure fuller growth. As for the leaves, for the most part it’s up to you. I would advise against chopping green, as these are obviously still providing benefit to the plant. Once older leaves starting dying/yellowing, though, you can chop these for aesthetic purposes. There’s usually no harm really in leaving them (apart from the fact that occasionally sick-looking leaves can be an attractant for pests) but it’s also perfectly fine to get rid of them!

Thanks so much for the advice! So I guess I keep doing what I’m doing? That’s a south-facing window so the living room gets light pretty much all day and I’ll rotate the plant every time I water it.
