It's not, unless the rhizomes are hidden in the image. The leaves look similar, if not. a little fatter. If there are no rhizomes, it's not a rabbit's foot though, especially not at the size it appears in the image.
0 J'aimeOh, I just realized that is your thumb, not your hand. Let me reevaluate. : )
0 J'aimeDo you see rhizomes at all? It's hard to tell from the images because the brush grows out of them and this one is just an infant.
0 J'aimeIdk I'm not good with ferns I tend to stay away.
1 j'aimeYou said you were bad with ferns. Is it due to underwatering, maybe? I would definitely suggest a rabbit's foot in that case as they are much more forgiving than other ferns, speaking of the rhizomes. They hold water, though you still should keep the soil moist and not allow them to dry out. They're my favorite plant actually, and I like the pretty spidery look!
0 J'aimeThis is what planta says.
0 J'aimeI think I found out just now, I think it’s a soft shield fern!
0 J'aimeI want to say Autumn Fern if no rhizomes. I suppose you'll know when it gets colder. : ) good luck with your new friend!
