My boat lily has grown ALOT over the past few months. It’s gotten rather leggy and long. Do I need to trim it back or just give it a bigger pot?

Depends on what you want. You could take some cuttings and put them in a new pot to get a “new” plant, or put the cuttings back in the same pot if you can find space. Most tradescantia root really easily so you could just stick the cuttings right into soil and skip the water propagation stage. I think they like to stay a little cramped so only go up a pot size if you put the cuttings back with the mother plant. TLDR; hard to go wrong with these plants, do whatever you want!

the skinny/leggy portions are etiolated because your plant is not getting enough light. right in an east or west window is a good spot for tradescantia
