If your plant grows leggy (the space between the node point is very long) then it isn’t enough light. :)

If they exist, you could get replacement bulbs that could act as grow lights - I did that with some of my lamps in my living room to give plants further from the window an extra boost.
2 J'aimeThis will only work to a small extent because normal house lights don’t have the full spectrum that plants need for growth. You can try it for a while but it unfortunately won’t work terribly well in the long run. There are lots of effective grow lights on the market that don’t look awful, including grow bulbs which can hang from pendant cords or be used with lamps to great effect
