Anybody know why this rubber plant is heavily growing from one branch but not the other? It’s from the same root system but one half has been lacking for the past 6 months.

It might be time to repot or propagate
3 likesI think I’m actually due to repot it and I guess I’ll find out for sure if it’s 2 separate plants come that time. If it’s a single plant is it just a simple cut near the root system to separate them or will I risk damaging both if I split them?
1 likeIf it’s an easy split it should be ok, but i would worry as well. But from what I’ve learned it should be ok, maybe a little shock but should be ok
1 likeI'm having the same thing happen with my Tineke trees. There are three of them in the pot and one of them is growing so much slower than the other two. They were just repotted a few months ago. Would love to hear what you end up doing with yours and if it helps at all.
0 likesI’ll post on here what I end up doing and if it works or not 🤞
1 likeI ended up repotting the two, as they weren’t rooted as one, and now they have their own pots. Guessing some shock will set in for the first bit but crossing my fingers they both end up thriving 🤞
