Welcome to the worlds of plants and to the group. I am new, like 4 months now. Disclaimer make sure anything I say is verified by a more experienced member. I can definitely share the excitement though!! I have about 10 plants now and they all seem to be doing pretty well, I am in FL so I have more sun and daylight which may be giving me an advantage. Although I do not have either of there plants I have heard the Spider Plants and Pythos do well in low light conditions.

Hey Isabella! I’ve found that my golden pothos does so good without a lot of light! I keep it in a corner in my room and she’s doing amazing! They also seem to put out new leafs fast which i love getting a fast growing plant, they are so rewarding and I’ve found they are so easy! This has just been my experience of corse but I HIGHLY recommend them to any new plant parent!

hi! you could try a philodendron maybe a green princess or birkin types. they seem to be pretty hardy. spider plants are another good one similar to pothos [kinda, in that they do well in low light]

zz plants are easy to take care of and don't need much sunlight, although they grow very slow. also my nerve plant seems to do good wherever, they just need a lot of water and are dramatic without it but should be good!

I love scindapsus. They have thick leaves and stems, making them more drought resistant. They don’t need bright light. The leaves curl when the plant is thirsty, letting you know when to water. And they grow at a respectable rate.
