My partner needs advice: I got this Jade plant a while back, it seems to be doing good but it keeps growing upward (which i've not seen much in other Jade plants usually they grow other side plants). Should I change the pot because it might be too small hence why it's not sprouting side plants?

It’s because it’s not getting enough sun. It’s stretching up to find more light. It’s kind of cute though, like a jade tree 😁

Cute but it’ll look even cuter and happier with more sun and lots of little branches will appear :P

Get that little guy some more sun! While it isn’t gonna die or anything, it won’t branch or get very lush if light isn’t sufficient, and the leaves will droop a bit. Carefully move it by a south facing window (gets the most sun), and/or get it a grow light. It might burn if moved immediately into very bright light, such as outdoors in full sun or powerful grow lights, so acclimating it for a few hours over a week could work. Not that I have any experience trying that yet myself 😅

Note: if the Jade isn’t too happy with the light, the cactus will very likely want more too, as it’ll grow long and etiolated without.
