I’m pretty sure the one on the right might be rotting , how dry is the soil?

If they are dry I would say it’s that they are too dry, hard to tell when I can’t be there hands on lol

I definitely agree that they are too dry. The pots do have a drainage hole. The soil was compacted and dry, so I poked at the soil to loosen it up, gave them some water, misted them and put them on a south facing window sill. I am going to let them chill for a bit and fingers crossed they are going to come back! ❤️🙏🏼🌵

Looks like an opuntia (prickly pear cactus)

Prickly pear cactus will look like that during the winter it should start to plump back out at about March or april

I've grown them in the past and they usually begin to fill out in the spring

    They are best grown outdoors

I had them outdoors in a pot. Would you suggest outdoors in the ground?
