I’m new to plant life and I have a few Barinna lights that are working well for me so far. I’ve hear about Sansi a lot as well but not GE.

I have many grow lights. I use Barrina for tropicals and Sansi for succulents. Plus a few off brands. What I’ve seen of the GE lights is that they are not bright enough. Have not looked for a long time so maybe they have changed.

Is sansi not ideal for my Monstera Thai Con, for example?

I’m sure it’s fine. I prefer Sansi for succulents because the light is more concentrated whereas Barrina lights are more diffused. But in my living room display I am using a bunch of Barrina lights for haworthia and sansevieria.

I am team Sansi all the way. Great price. Great light output.

If you’re talking 10 watts for a couple of plants any brand is good. It’s just the way the light is displayed that makes the difference. (Puck-clip on- bar). I have 9 watt GE bulbs in some lamps and a ceiling track light system and they are great! Very affordable.

Team sansi for my high light plants - I’ve had fruit trees doing really well with them. The large tri/quad lights from Amazon are also amazing, just not quite as strong as Sansi, but less likely to fry your plants. My lemon balm and dracaena adore the tri/quad lights
