Hey there! How do you guys take care of plants when on vacation?

    It depends. How long are you planing to be gone? For me, i usually take a week vacation and the plants do just fine. Just make sure you water them before heading out. Now, if you are planning to be longer, I will suggest having someone to water your plants at least one time. Most plants will survive two weeks, they might look dry and down, but once you add water again, they will come back up, but it depends on the plants you got too.

      That’s a long time for sure. My only suggestion is to have someone to go by your place at least once a week.

    I give them a good water before I go and normally they’re fine

      You give them water one time before you go on vacation for a month and they’re fine? Wow. what water you use? lol.

    For most of them I just water the day before leaving. For a couple of extra thirsty plants, I add those gravity watering globe things. For my smallest plants (things that want water like every day), I put them all in a clear box to hold in humidity; that was enough for most of them. (I did lose an air plant that stayed too wet on one side, and a miltoniopsis that was already struggling)

    I put all of my plants I a sunny-ish bathroom shower, water them thoroughly, and have a large low container in the center full of water for humidity.
