Hope you all are doing well. I was wondering about grow light bulbs. Do they actually work? I was thinking of getting some to put in a bathroom with no windows, for a low light plant. Any tips are greatly appreciated

    I’ve never used grow light bulbs in a fixture but I do use grow lights and they are fantastic! I have mainly clip light and a couple halo standing lights.

    For a long time I had a grow bulb in my vanity so I could have plants in a no window bathroom. As long as the plants aren’t too far from the bulb then they’re fantastic. Many bulbs come with guidelines of how far from the bulb certain plants can be.

    I put my grow light bulb in an old lamp and it works great for my plants. I have my tradescantia right under it.
