My birds of paradise has been healthy. I did repot a weeks/months back. It’s been growing and all leaves are healthy but the new growth is dying and the base is a bit brown. Any ideas?

How is the soil? Is it still damp after you repotted it the first time?

I believe I have watered it once since, I did water when repotting of course. I only repotted her because she had huge roots coming out of the bottom and the pot was extremely tight. Her roots were extremely healthy. It has been totally healthy since repotting. I have been very careful because I’ve heard to NOT over water these! This plant got big pretty fast 😅 it’s been in the same spot. I’ve monitored the humidity but it has gotten a little more this past week (humidity I mean). I was bottom watering all my plants, which I don’t think is working for me. The last time this girl was watered, it was bottom watered.

Oh! Also soil is moist, leaning towards dry on the top.

I would keep from bottom watering and do about a cup of water on top, wait 30 minutes and see how dry/wet the soil is. But it’s probably a little overwatered. Let it completely dry by sunlight or somewhere with some air flow
