This Bird of Paradise is my newest baby. I’ve noticed the leaves have started to curl upwards and slight browning in the edges. I’m thinking the air is too try and needs humidity. Out of all the humidity methods, I feel a humidifier is my best option. Before making that purchase…..Has anyone had much success with using a scent diffuser (water only, no essential oils) ?

i’ve been misting my leaves once a day or every two days, they seem to respond well to that!

I mist my plants but also use a humidifier for my larger quantity and sized plants. For my other small quantity and sized plants I’ve been misting and using a scent diffuser with no oils just water and it’s been working just fine! For my bigger plants I mist once a day and for my smaller ones I mist every other day.

Ofc I watch my plants as well and accommodate to their needs depending on what they’re showing me. So just experiment and see what works best for your plants🥰

I use humidifiers mostly because of the water capacity and amount of humidity they put out. My oil diffusers hold a fraction of water and don’t put out near the same amount of humidity. It’s definitely been worth the investment for me. 💨🌿
