I’m caring for my first rubber tree. I noticed that the stem closest tothe soil looks drier than the top stems. Is this normal? It’s a 2ft tall right now under a grow light. I bottom water once a week and also top water after the 4th/5th bottom water. Am i doing anything wrong?

The stem closest to the soil is going to be the oldest. It’s natural for them to have a more woody look than the newer stems. I don’t think you’re doing anything wrong
