Hey planty friends! ☺️🪴 I’ve noticed sooo many post in the last few weeks about people who’s plants have gotten frost damage on the way home from your store. I’m sorry for everyone’s lost and damaged plants! I wanted to give a tip that might help. If you ask the cashier to give you an extra plastic bag or two, you can cover the plant and the pot and gently tie it shut. That should give you some grace time to get to the car. A plant store might have a box you could have. If you use reusable shopping bags, they work too. If you’ve been shopping for over an hour, I would buy your other things, go warm up the car, and then go back for the plant you want. If your somewhere that’s subzero—first of all, my condolences—an insulated bag that for frozen groceries or picnics can be a life saver!
