I recently bought a prayer plant ālemon limeā from a local shop, its soil was soaked with very few drainage holes. Now I am seeing gnats coming from the plant and I know I need to repot it. This big guy hasnāt stopped growing but Iām worried itās getting too big for its current pot. Anybody have any recommendations for pots or soil types?

All of my prayer plants are thriving in a well draining soil mix

I would re pot and make sure there are no gnats left by the roots.

I recommend using a very well draining soil mix, usually perlite/orchard bark/peat moss. When repotting, throw out the other dirt. And make sure to wash those roots off good, you can even use some hydrogen peroxide. I also recommend a bigger pot with 2-4 inches of extra soil space. Too much can water log the plant over time.
