   I have this on mine too and I was reading it can be due to low humidity. Either that or not quite enough water.

   are you watering with tap water? stromanthe and other prayer plants are very sensitive to the added chlorine and excess minerals in tap water. rain water is ideal but you can filter and treat your tap water with aquarium water conditioner to remove most of the irritants. once the topsoil has dried at least 1/2” down i’d recommend flushing the soil thoroughly with the purest water you have available. how is the humidity in your home? prayer plants are also very sensitive to dry air and will turn crispy quickly without additional humidity. i’d recommend running a humidifier or placing this plant under a cloche or in a small greenhouse
