Hi😃 Our cheese plant always looks a bit unhappy, although we’ve had him for many years now. He’s in a room with part sun, part shade, about a metre and a half from the window, maybe a bit closer. Some leaves look a bit thin and some are a bit brown or crispy at the ends. Any advice?

It’s has very small leaves for a plant that has grown for years. It may need fresh soil and a larger pot, especially if it’s root bound. Check the roots. Repot to replace the soil. Water well. You can repot once a year or every two if the plant is growing well. I’m assuming it’s getting bright indirect sunlight since you’re had it for years. Fertilize with diluted liquid fertilizer once a month in colder months. Twice in warm months. I add SuperThrive plant vitamins to boost the growth. You should see more leaf splitting as the leaves get bigger. The plant should be old enough since you have had it for years.

I don’t have one of these plants, is it a high humidity tropical? If it’s getting dry tips I’d think it might need more water/humidifier? 🤷🏻‍♀️

Repot her in a medium to high draining mix and give her a nice drink, she might not be able to get enough water in that pot. Also if you can, get her a moss pole to climb up and put her closer to the window
